We built Macgi so your shoppers can try clothes on before they buy

Macgi is an AI virtual try-on widget for online fashion shops, starting in Vietnam. Shops add it to their product pages; shoppers upload one photo and see themselves wearing the piece before they order.

Who we are

We are a small team building AI virtual try-on for fashion e-commerce, starting in Vietnam.

Buying clothes online usually goes wrong on cut, colour or size, because a model photo can’t show how a piece looks on the shopper. We want shops to answer "how will this look on me?" right on the product page.

What Macgi does for shops

Try-on widget: add a "Try it on" button to your product pages with an embed snippet. Shoppers upload a photo and get a preview of themselves wearing the product, using garment images your shop provides. You can try it on our demo store at app.macgi.app.

A try-on API for teams that want to build their own integration: coming soon.

Ready-made integrations for Haravan, Sapo, WooCommerce and Shopify: planned.

Beta: shops sign up on our sign-up page and get 1,000 free try-ons.

How we protect shopper photos

Photos are resized and stripped of metadata on the shopper’s own device, used only to create the try-on, and removed from temporary storage as soon as the job ends. Result images are deleted after 24 hours.

Nothing about shoppers is written to our database, and images are never used to train AI. Details are in our privacy policy.

About our blog

Articles are drafted with the help of AI tools under our editorial rules: specific advice, no invented statistics or quotes. Photos come from Pexels and credit the photographer. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
